So yes, this last term at Kettering went quite well. I set out with a goal to raise my wag and I succeeded in doing just that. I got to make a bunch of new friends with the incoming freshmen and also played guitar for Campus Crusade again. It was also my first term out of the dorms. I stayed in a house with some fellow hall mates from the dorm days. It was an adjustment but over all I think it went really well. Considering that we were all first born's, there was surprisingly very little conflict. We also probably kept one of the cleanest bachelor houses on campus. :)

An idea of what it'll look like afterwards.
All I could grow for no shave November lol!
Before I left for Kettering in October, the Wacaser family invited me to square dancing classes. I enjoyed it but then had to leave meaning I'd miss 3 months of classes. Graciously though the Wacaser's invited me over when I came back, both over Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas break, to teach me the moves I missed and catch up with the class. I was surprised how quickly I caught on! I even got to go to my first student dance, which was a blast! Thanks Wacaser's!
In September of 08 I finally got to play with my church's worship band. :) Needless to say they liked me and have kept me on for this work term. I've played the 1st of Feb and will play the third Sundays of Feb and March as well. The music director said he might throw me in another week or two as well so we'll see what happens with that. Ah but this is where interests conflict. Sadly, band practice is on the same day as square dancing!
Over the last 6 months or so, I've been really trying to pursue God and know Him more and more. I've been trying to dig into His Word and listen and follow what His will is. Needless to say it hasn't been easy. Satan seems to be attacking more then ever before. I also still am struggling on "hearing" from God. Christ, while on earth, lived totally by the guidance of the Spirit and this is what I'm striving to do as well, totally surrendering myself to Him. I can't wait to see what God shows and does through me this year!
Well thanks for reading this well needed update.
God Bless!

Hey Lil' Bro,
Wow! Nice facial hair. Going for a gotee or a full beard? Keep trying. You can do it! lol
So what kinda lessons is God teaching you these days?
Love to hear.
Your Big Sis,
V'essa ;) <><
I was really going for anything and in the end I didn't grow enough to even think about trying to make something out of it. I will haha.
God's really been showing me just how much I need Him. I don't know what is going to happen after college. I can't find a wife let alone romance her without Him. I can't be the husband and father I want to be with out God's power in my life and I can't fully live my short life here on earth fully to the glory of God with out His awesome strength, glory and love in my life.
Make sense? I can't say I've seen any huge difference in my life other then I'm trying to keep flesh off the throne and God on it and the center of my life. :)
