I have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business. Wow, what a time of growth and maturity.
It all started when my mom followed God's prompting and pulled the postcard Kettering had sent us out of the garbage.
Things of note:
There was the struggle of being on my own and learning how to keep God at the center.
I went on my first missions trip during the crossing of 07 into 08 and I learned a lot.
There were times where God spoke to me in a personal way.
Learning what it means to be a godly man (not that it will ever stop).
A deeper understanding of what God wants me to do.
Taking life's lows and trusting God here and here.
Trusting God.
And seeing Him come through in amazing ways! One example and another here.
There were times where I couldn't keep my head from spinning; and there were time where it seemed to make some sense.
I've realized I need God desperately, even to type these words now.
God used men of old to encourage me; and a second missions trip to help me see my need for Him.
Discussions fueled thinking.
There were Spiritual growth pains; and real pains.
So, in summary, what has my years at college taught me? My God has been proven real and true, living and active, loving and faithful. My continual sanctification has become more readily apparent and my desperate need more realized.
There are things I would do differently if I did it over again but at the same time, I have peace that somehow, God used me anyway. After all, if it depended on me, one can readily see, it simply wouldn't go according to plan.
I never did get to drop bouncy balls off the fifth floor of the CC or run down the hallway screaming "FREEDOM!!" after my last final (which happened to be a take home so it just didn't feel right). I made lots of friends and learned the art of living with different personalities.

Anyway, a quick update on life, I currently have a full time job at North American Lighting in Farmington Hills, MI. I currently reside in Ypsi.
Feel free to read any number of the posts I linked to. I just realized that it made more sense to point to what has already been written than to rewrite much of it here.
I am so excited to see what God has in store!
